Business Quotes

A business quote is a professional PDF document generated from your cart, containing part details, unit and total prices, taxes, shipping costs, and a direct payment link.

What is a quote for?

Quotes allow you to get a project approved by a purchasing department, manager, or budget owner before launching production. They're ideal for:

  • Obtaining internal authorization before ordering
  • Sharing accurate pricing with colleagues or clients
  • Maintaining a formal record of a quote before commitment
  • Associating a PO number with the order

How does it work?

  1. 1 Configure your cart with desired parts, materials, quantities, and services.
  2. 2 Generate a PDF quote from the cart. The document includes all details and a unique payment link.
  3. 3 Share the PDF with your team, manager, or purchasing department for approval.
  4. 4 Validate payment via the link (credit card, Net 30 terms if approved, or transfer) or associate a PO number.
  5. 5 Production starts as soon as payment is confirmed or PO is accepted by Laseo.

Important Information

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days. After this period, generate a new quote to get updated pricing.
  • Once a quote is accepted, key information (materials, quantities, addresses) cannot be modified. For any changes, generate a new quote.
  • You can generate quotes even without credit terms: standard customers can also use this tool to get projects approved before paying by card.

How Net 30 Credit Terms Work

Net 30 terms allow you to order now and pay at month-end, according to a credit limit defined upon approval of your business account.

How to get Net 30 terms?

  1. 1. Apply for a business account (see section below)
  2. 2. Quick analysis by Laseo: creditworthiness verification, purchase history, estimated volume
  3. 3. Approval and credit limit defined (e.g., $5,000, $10,000 or more depending on profile)
  4. 4. Net 30 terms activation on your account

How to place an order with Net 30?

  • Configure your cart as usual
  • At payment, select "Pay on Net 30 account" option
  • Add a PO number if required by your organization
  • Production starts immediately
  • You receive an invoice payable within 30 days

Important Notes

  • Laseo reserves the right to adjust the credit limit based on your payment history.
  • In case of repeated late payment, Net 30 terms may be suspended temporarily or permanently.
  • If your credit limit is reached, you must pay outstanding invoices before placing new orders on account.

Multi-User Business Accounts

A Laseo business account allows multiple employees from the same organization (engineers, designers, buyers, technicians, etc.) to order under the same banner, benefiting from the same settings: credit terms, tax exemptions, NDA, mandatory POs, etc.

How does it work?

Each employee creates their own user account with their professional email. Then they can:

Request to join

If an organization already exists for their email domain, the employee can request to join it.

Receive an invitation

An organization administrator can send an email invitation to add a new employee.

Contact support

If there's an issue, Laseo support can help attach an employee to the right organization.

All users automatically benefit from the same terms: Net 30 credit, tax exemptions, mandatory POs, NDA/confidentiality agreements.

Centralized administration

One or more administrators have access to company orders, complete history, invoices, and shipping tracking.

Easy reordering

Administrators can reorder previous parts for any user in the organization.

All users' orders are consolidated on a single monthly statement for accounts payable.

Important Note

Each employee must have their own user account. Generic shared accounts (e.g., purchasing@company.com) are not recommended for traceability and security reasons.

What Organization Accounts DON'T Do

To avoid confusion, here's what the multi-user account system does not allow:

Direct access to personal accounts

An administrator cannot directly log into an employee's personal account. Each account remains private and password-protected.

CAD file sharing

The organization account is not a file sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox. CAD files remain linked to individual projects/orders. For team file management, use your own document management tools.

Recommendation: For collaborative management of your technical drawings and design files, use internal shared folders within your company (network, cloud, Git, etc.) and upload final files to Laseo when ordering.

Managing Employee Departure

When an employee leaves your organization, it's important to manage access to their account and associated projects.

Available options

Option 1: Internal access recovery

If your IT department or purchasing service manages company emails, you can recover account access by resetting the password via the employee's professional email.

Option 2: Project transfer via support

Contact Laseo support to request transfer of projects/orders from the departing employee to another user in the same organization. Laseo will proceed with a secure procedure:

  • Verification of requester identity (administrator)
  • Confirmation that both users belong to the same organization
  • Transfer of relevant files and history

Important Limitation

It is not possible to merge accounts or transfer projects to a different organization without formal validation and appropriate documentation. This policy protects the confidentiality and intellectual property of all parties.

    Provide basic information about your company: legal name, address, contact details, tax numbers (GST/HST or equivalent), estimated order volume.

    Depending on your situation:

    • • Credit references or proof of solvency
    • • Signature of credit agreement / NDA (if needed)

    Review and approval

    The Laseo team reviews your application within 2-5 business days and communicates with you to confirm approval and define the credit limit.

    Account activation

    Once approved, your business account is activated with credit terms and all agreed-upon settings.

Legal Mentions and Limitations

Approval and withdrawal: Laseo reserves the right to refuse any business account application or to withdraw an existing business account, as well as associated credit terms, in case of non-compliance with agreed conditions, repeated payment delays, or any other reasonable cause.

Production timelines: Production and delivery timelines indicated on quotes and in the application are estimates based on current production load. These timelines may be updated in case of specification changes (materials, quantities, services), technical issues, or exceptional circumstances.

Order modifications: Once a quote is accepted and payment is confirmed or a PO is accepted by Laseo, key information (materials, thicknesses, quantities, shipping/billing addresses) can no longer be modified. For any changes, a new quote will need to be generated.

Intellectual property: Files and drawings uploaded by users remain the exclusive property of the client. Laseo commits to respecting the confidentiality of these documents in accordance with signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), if applicable.

Limitation of liability: Laseo disclaims all liability in case of design errors, unmet tolerances due to incorrect files, or any other issues resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.
