This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you interact with our Site and Services. It reflects Québec and Canadian laws (including Law 25 and PIPEDA). By using the Services, you agree to these practices; if you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Information we collect
We may collect different types of information about you, including:
- Personal information: name, company, email, phone, shipping/billing addresses, communication preferences, order and payment details (processed by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers), plus files and notes you upload (e.g., drawings, templates, specifications).
- Usage data (Matomo, cookieless): page URLs and titles, pages viewed, referrers, on-site searches, time on page, events (scrolls, clicks), language and time zone, device and browser type, and approximate geolocation derived from a truncated IP. We configure Matomo to anonymize IPs and to honor the browser’s Do Not Track signal when enabled.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use only strictly necessary cookies (session, authentication, security/CSRF, load balancing, language/cart state). No analytics or advertising cookies are set. Matomo analytics runs in a cookieless mode. Analytics logs are retained for up to 13 months and then deleted or aggregated.
How we use your information
The information we collect is used to:
- Provide the Services: process orders and payments, manufacture and ship products, manage accounts, and deliver customer support.
- Operate and secure the Site: performance, debugging, fraud prevention, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate: order/shipping notices, invoices, policy updates, and promotional messages in line with CASL (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Analytics (Matomo only) without analytics cookies, to understand usage and improve our offerings; and to meet legal and compliance obligations (record-keeping, tax, regulatory).
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary and under appropriate safeguards:
- With our service providers (e.g., payment processors, production/shipping partners, cloud hosting, support tools, anti-fraud services, and Matomo as first-party analytics). No data is sent to advertising networks.
- When required by law: to comply with laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests by public authorities.
- To protect our rights, property, or user safety, or otherwise with your direction/explicit consent.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and obtain details about its use.
- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information and withdraw consent where applicable.
- Request deletion or anonymization in specific circumstances, and object to certain processing.
- Exercise rights provided under Québec law (portability, de-indexing, cessation of dissemination) and opt out of Matomo analytics via the “Analytics Opt-out” control in our footer (when available).
Data security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (access controls, encryption in transit, secure development and retention practices). Data — including Matomo analytics — is hosted in Canada. No system is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords and protect your credentials.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request your consent for material changes.
